The Association does everything it can to safeguard the personal information of its members.  The Association does not share information with external organizations unless prior permission has been received from the member.  By excepting membership with the Association the member does grant permission, unless specifically denied by the member in writing to the Privacy Officer for the following actions:

Within the OMSPA Office and the Promotional Store the following is kept within a database and in paper format:

• Each member's mailing address and other information supplied to the OMSPA Office by the member;
• A record if the member is a Seal of Qulaity member and their individual monitoring results;
• A record if the member subscribes to the Maple Digest;
• A record of the member's financial payment to the OMSPA Office;
• A record of any purchases and the method of payment made;

By becoming a member of OMPSA and paying your dues you have given the Association consent to use your personal information in the following manner:

• A listing of your contact information will be included on the website;
• The OMSPA Office can share your information with the individual Local that you are affiliated with;
• Your personal contact information will be published within the Summer Tour booklet.

Also, reports must be submitted yearly to OMAFRA concerning the financial statements of OMSPA; the number of members; the names of the members of the OMSPA Executive and the annual meeting's minutes.
