Saturday and Sunday April 4th & 5th, 2009, 10 am - 3 pm
Enjoy pancakes and sausage smothered in fresh Linlor Farm pure maple syrup. Enjoy wagon rides, taffy on snow, tours, play area and so much more.... A great family day! Shuttle bus available from Norwood out to the farm. County Road #2 to 4th Line of Asphodel and turn south. Just follow the signs. There is nothing quite as sweet as springtime, and McLean Berry Farm’s Maplefest proves this once again! Their 17th annual Maplefest will be kicking into high gear once again this spring with fun activities for the entire family. Whether it’s going for a wagon ride, eating pancakes with fresh maple syrup or seeing how the sweet stuff is made, there is something to do for everyone! Kids and kids at heart love tapping their toes and swinging their hips to live music, trying their hand at tapping a maple tree and testing their toffee on snow twirling skills to get a taste of the sweet stuff! Farm animals and fresh straw offer playtime for some, while others prefer to take a stroll through the sugarbush with a pair of snowshoes. Whatever it is you’re looking for, McLean’s Maplefest is a great way for everyone to shake off a long winter and enjoy the celebration of springs arrival! This years Buckhorn Maplefest takes place on March 20, 21,27,28 and April 2-4 2010.
