Join us for our 2019 Information Day and Annual General Meeting. 

This annual meeting allows maple syrup producers from across Lanark & District to come together to learn, network, and share tips & tricks before the season begins. The annual meeting takes place just before lunch. A traditional hot roast beef lunch is served.

The agenda includes:

        - Benefits of Monitoring Systems, Steve Bedard

2019 Maple Syrup Producer of the Year Competition - Elmira Maple Syrup Festival - Entries Due February 8, 2019

Now’s the time to enter!
We are once again looking for a maple syrup producer to be our Producer of the Year!
Aside from marketing yourself as our 2019 Producer of the Year, the winner will also take advantage of the following on Festival day, April 6, 2019:
 Supplying the 2019 Festival with up to 500 litres of amber maple syrup.
 2 prominent, high traffic locations to market and sell your product.

If this interests you, don’t hesitate to put your best amber maple syrup into our competition. All entries received are graded on color, clarity, density and taste. The entry with the highest score
out of 100 will be the winner. Complete rules are available upon request.

Entering our competition is easy!
Here’s a checklist to make sure you have everything you need to enter:
􀀀 Two (2) 250mL bottles of your best amber maple syrup in curved kent bottles with no labels or identifying features. These are used for judging and display at the 2019 Festival.
􀀀 4L donation of maple syrup for the 2019 Festival. This is your entry fee and you will be recognized as a supplier to the festival.
􀀀 Completed entry form, so we know who you are.
