The festival is for the first four full weekends in March and all of March break.

Take a hayride on a horse drawn wagon, learn about how maple syrup production has changed throughout the ages. Enjoy pancakes, sausages and maple syrup in our pancake house.

The Maple Syrup Festival at Westfield Heritage Village in Rockton runs every Sunday in March as well as Wednesday March 15 and Thursday March 16 (March Break).  Come and see both traditional and modern methods for making maple syrup and then try some delicious pancakes sold by the St. George Lion’s Club at the Ironwood Hall!  ​Visitors will enjoy visiting Westfield’s historic buildings – there are more than 30 on the site many staffed by the village’s volunteer interpreters. Warm up by a roaring fire or by a cozy wood stove and learn about local history and Ontario’s past.  A short, picturesque walk through the sugar bush leads to a modern sugar shack where you can taste some of Westfield’s very own maple syrup produced in a modern evaporator.  

Admission is $11.00 for adults, $10.00 for seniors 65+ and $6.50 for children ages 6-12.  Children 5 and under are free.  Admission is free to ​Hamilton ​C​onservation ​A​uthority​ Annual Pass holders.
